For those of you who have visited me at the studio before, you will already know that the upper floor is a hub for creativity!
With regular courses and workshops it has become a sanctuary for many.
I am so excited to share that during the strange times of recent months, the space has had a fabulous overhaul and the new Restore brand has been born.
Alongside the creative courses which will be restarting this Autumn, there is now a retail area full of treats and trinkets.
Candles, Aromatherapy, Crystals, Bath Products and Home Fragrance.
With an emphasis on feeling good and leaving with a smile...… cannot wait to see you all there soon!

Just over a week until the studio is permitted to open again!
Most 2020 brides have taken the decision to postpone until 2021, so lets hope that it is a year to remember and party like never before.
I do still have quite a few brides booked in and due to marry between Sept & December, but to be honest the guidelines are still vague.
Happier times are on the way x

Although I have secretly enjoyed having some thinking space and much valued time at home with my family........I am now more than ready to get back to doing what I love !
The studio will re-open from the 15th June, although there will be restrictions on how many appointments can take place and also how many guests you are permitted to bring ( please drop me a message for details)

It is now 8 weeks since the studio doors temporarily closed and lockdown life is certainly different for all of us.
Gone is the hustle and bustle of balancing family and the hectic studio diary. I miss not seeing the many excited brides coming and going and the joy of welcoming lots of new faces to one of the many workshops or classes to learn new skills and meet new people !
I really do yearn for the return of those times and like everyone else I often sit and think what our everyday life ahead and our new normal will be like?
2021 is looking extremely busy in terms of bridal fittings and it is certainly going to be a year of celebration for many families who have had to put all their plans on hold.

I try to fill my days with positive thoughts and I really do find that creativity is a huge help to my mental well being.

Well what a whirlwind 2018 was!
I will strive to keep you more updated of life in the studio throughout the New Year as I often have so many fabulous photos and events to share but somehow they never quite reach the blog....
It seems that bridal season no longer exists and there are a steady stream of brides visiting me throughout the year for both alterations and for my bespoke design service.
Throughout 2018 I also introduced some new services including bridal dressing and styling. 

Bridal Dressing
Getting into your wedding dress can be a challenge, particularly if you have a large underskirt, a corset fastening or lots of fiddly buttons.
Once all your alterations are complete, you may feel more at ease to have some assistance on your big day to ensure every detail of your dress looks perfect. Stress levels on the day are often high and many brides during 2018 found the dressing service to be a perfect solution. 

Bridal Styling
Any bride who visits me for alterations benefits from advice with regards to styling and accessories .
A beautiful dress can be turned into something sensational with the right finishing touches and I am on hand to help with hairpieces, veils, wraps and shrugs.
